MUSIKR8IVS are a brand new collective consisting of a soulful vocalist, a creative producer, a raw agressive rapper and a fresh up and coming singer/songwriter. The collective managed by Look 4 Me Entertainments (contactable by email), published their website and a fresh new mixtape yesterday and for the majority of today, I have been impressed by their new fresh sound. In particular I was blown away by the vocals of Demi and the production skills of Sangeet P but taking nothing away from the rest of the crew, I hope to hear a lot more from these young talented musicians. I have uploaded a few of the tracks that shone from the mixtape KR8IV PATH which can be downloaded for free from here.

Jazmine Sullivan feat Wale - Holding You Down (Remix)
This song is off the hook! I love this track by the uber-talented Jazmine Sullivan and the remix featuring the MC of the moment, Wale just tops the track off.

Finally had the chance today to go through the Griminal new mixtape Grimson which canbe downloaded for free here. I have to say that this mixtape is dangerous, and in particular I liked Hello Good Morning and Griminal’s flow on the track with Maxsta, Grimsta. The video for the latter can be viewed above.

Kanye West feat Jay-Z + John Legend - Power (Remix)
If you don’t know about the track Power then get to know it, actually whilst you’re at it, take in the remix which features Jay-Z and John Legend. With production from Swizz Beats it features a sample from the Snap! song Power. What a track.

This tracked leaked a little while ago but I didn’t blog it because it was smothered in tags but here’s a fresh untagged version for you courtesy of Hypetrak.

Posted the audio to this late last month, today sees the release of the video for this awesome collaboration. September 21st will most definately be one of the musical days in history for me, I cant wait for Wake Up.

Heard this last night at the Bobby Friction’s ‘Friction’ played by Scandalous Unlimited (True Tiger) and the beat absolutely blew me away. This is what you call a dubstep remix. Full stop.
