Amplify Dot feat Kano – Semantics (Official Video)
Don’t know why but I instantly thought of Jay-Z’s Venus vs Mars track but my thoughts aside, this has a crazy beat and a serious hook. Kano and Amplify Dot seriously killed this one.
Swami Baracus Feat Kazz Kumar, Sam Khan, Menis, RKZ, AC, AG Dolla, Rowdy Brown – Break This Game (Remix) (Official Video)
Following from the success of the original Break This Game, Swami Baracus teams up with some of the finest, hard hitting MC’s that the UK have to offer for an absolutely stonking remix. The track is available for free download via Swami Baracus’ Bandcamp page.
Chase + Status – Blind Faith (Kasha Remix) – Acts Unsigned Performance
One of my first ever posts was the introduction of UK rapper Kasha and since then, he’s been working his way steadily up with a few singles including the popular The Realism and more recently with Mic Righteous for the track, The Hardest. For this video he teamed up with Acts Unsigned to bring an exclusive remix of the hit Chase + Status track, Blind Faith, and after a couple of plays already I think you’ll enjoy this one.
KIG Family – Gimmi More (Official Video)
Exactly two years since we saw the video club hit Head, Shoulders, Kneez & Toez, KIG Family release the video for their catchy new single Gimmi More.
Devlin Feat Ed Sheeran – Let It Go (BBC R1 Live Lounge Video Performance)
It originally featured Labrinth but Ed Sheeran joins Devlin for a special BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge performance of his newest single release Let It Go.
Listen, you took me high you took me low
You sold your soul with lies you told
And now it’s time to ride alone
The lights will guide me home
The more I gave, the more you take
Now I’ll be gone before you wake
Cos I just can’t ignore my fate
Forget the day you saw my face
Mz.Bratt feat DJ Kayper + Mikey J – Get Dark (Live Performance)
Mz Bratt performs Get Dark live alongside DJ Kayper on the decks and Mikey J on the MPC. Sicka!
Ed Sheeran Feat P Money – Family
If I could upload all of Ed Sheeran’s new EP No 5 Collaborations Project I would but I’d prefer you to download it yourself to support a extraordinary talented independant artist. Featuring my favourite MC from 2010 P Money, Family is a track which instantly captures you utilising Ed’s smooth vocals and P Money’s deep bars.
Willow Smith feat Tinie Tempah – Whip My Hair (Remix)
Tinie Tempah is digging his heels deep within the US and it appears he’s there to stay after appearing on the remix of the biggest hit of 2010, Willow Smith’s Whip My Hair. Also could this be a signal of intent with Tinie Tempah and Jay-Z’s Roc Nation? Then again Roc did just sign up Cher Lloyd so to be fair, the news wouldn’t be that astronomical.
Lethal Bizzle – Pow 2011 (DJ Raph Grime History Remix)
Thought it was be ludicrous of me not to post anything closely related to the hype that is Pow 2011. The video released over the weekend but I came across a refix video which caught my ear. It features the same Pow 2011 vocals of Lethal, JME, Wiley, 2 Face, Ghetto, P Money, Chipmunk + Kano but DJ Raph has slapped them over the hottest beats that have emerged from the Grime scene. I’m still trying to figure out what half the instrumentals are and I’m sure you’ll be in the same position too.
Female Takeover – Game Over (Video)
Visuals released for the female version on the Game Over beat which features Ruff Diamondz, Adot, Envy, CherriV, BabyBlue, RoxXxan, Lioness, Mz Bratt & Lady Leshurr. To be fair, bar Example’s verse on the original and Griminal/Maxsta/Ghetts verses on boys remix, there’s not much that defeats this remix.
