Lauryn Hill covers Bob Marley – Chances Are + Could You Be Loved (Live Performance)
In honour of Bob Marley’s death anniversary, Jimmy Fallon hosted and ended a weeklong tribute to the entertainer with a performance from none other than Lauryn Hill. Performing Could You Be Loved and Chances Are, Lauryn returned to our television screens for the first time since her hiatus from publicity began after the release of MTV Unplugged No 2.0 in 2002. Honestly I found this a perfect tribute to Bob Marley and set alight the need for Lauryn to return to making new music to reproduce some of the greatness we all experienced from her album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

Ron Isley Feat Lauryn Hill - Close To You
This track which will be featured on Ron Isley’s new album is a cover of the 1970′s Barbra Streisand + Burt Bacharach classic track, Close To You. What excites me the most is the guest on the track, none other than legendary female vocalist, Lauryn Hill. For the past few weeks she has been taking part in a few concerts singing some of her old gems but could this track mean that she’s ready to get back into the studio? I hope so.
